NEW 3.0L MARINE BASE ENGINE (replaces years 1991-newer)

This is a factory brand new 3.0L/181 c.i. Marine Base Engine. This engine will replace 3.0L marine engines used in Mercruiser, Volvo Penta, OMC, Crusader, Indmar and other inboard marine applications between the years 1967-present. This is a perfect replacement for engines that have suffered from freeze damage or any other type of engine failure. Pre-1992 Engines must replace flywheel with 12 3/4" and in some applications a new coupler, adapter plate, and fuel pump may be needed.

  • new engine block, heads and all internal components

  • harmonic balancer
